System requirements:

TheiaXA viewer uses GPU (Graphics Card) processor in all stages of the image processing and requires fast computer with a very high-performance video card.

Program may run on a system not meeting the requirements as stated below (especially with a slower video card), but its performance on such a system may not be acceptable.

Video Card: nVidia GTX Titan, GTX 680  or AMD  HD7970,  or newer with minimum 2GB of Video RAM

CPU/RAM:  At least dual-core CPU with minimum 4GB of RAM.

Operating system: Windows XP SP3 with DirectX 9c installed, , Windows 7, Windows 10 (preferred). 
 
Please have in mind, that this is an experimental and not a "production" version of the software and, despite that we tried hard to prevent it, all kinds of crashes could happen if your computer has insufficient resources or too many background tasks are running simultaneously. To avoid loss of data and to improve performance, before you start the TheiaXA viewer, please make sure that no other programs are running and no other people are logged into the same machine.

Installation:

TheiaXA viewer does not require installation. Just unzip the downloaded files to your hard drive, preserving the directory structure. To open the viewer run the TheiaXA.exe. Please note that the program stores the settings of the image processing algorithms alongside the relevant DICOM files, therefore the viewed files can not be located on the write protected or read-only media (i.e. CD ROM or DVD).

Registration:

The latest version no longer requires registration.
